Soldier Jam Veteran Fundraiser ShirtsAs a veteran-owned business, Synergy Print Design always takes part in fundraising events for our military and veterans whenever possible.

Last month, we donated a line of shirts for the Homes for Heroes event in Ridley, where more than $38,000 was raised to help homeless veterans afford a place to live. This month, Synergy Print Design was asked to help out at the 3rd annual Soldier Jam!

Soldier Jam is a fun-filled event, where local artists put on an amazing show in the hopes of raising money to help bring therapeutic treatment to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

This amazing concert has grown in size every year. This year, attendance was so high that the concert was held at World Café Live at The Queen in Wilmington, DE.

This year’s lineup included four local bands, with a guest appearance from Johnny Neel, formerly of the Allmand Brothers. Proceeds from the event went to the Thorncroft Equestrian Center in Malvern, which hosts the Veteran Equestrian Program. By allowing soldiers who are suffering from PTSD to spend time with their horses, Thorncroft is providing valuable therapy to help our brave soldiers get back on their feet!

When designing the shirt for the Soldier Jam, we wanted to incorporate the excitement of the music-filled night with the patriotism that every guest in attendance felt. We took the Playbill for the concert and printed it on the back of some comfortable black cotton tees.

To get a perfect blend of red, white, and blue, we used our very own custom technique called “smash print.” The end result looked amazing, and guests couldn’t wait to get their brand new shirts on!

We know that the Soldier Jam will continue to grow as awareness grows for veterans in need, and you can be sure that Synergy Print Design will stay active in this cause!
