We’ve got more than one reason to support our local veterans. Synergy Print Design’s owner, Russ Watkins, is a veteran himself!
That’s why we were especially excited when we heard from Robert and Megan Trinkley, who were garnering support for their second annual Homes For Heroes event.
The organization, which hosted their fundraiser event this past Friday night at Barnaby’s in Ridley, helps raise money for homeless veterans.
Megan wanted to create the Homes For Heroes organization after her father, an Air Force veteran, passed away. She felt the calling to give back to veterans, and her passion for the cause spread rapidly! Robert works for Mission First, which helps coordinate the collection of funds to put towards veterans in need.
In the past year alone, Megan and Robert have raised close to $30,000 for Homes For Heroes, and this year they hoped to raise even more!
This past Friday, Megan and Robert decided to add a few extra-special touches to the event. The Synergy Print Design team couldn’t have been happier to be involved!
We donated several Homes For Heroes t-shirts, which were given out as part of a raffle event. We hope the shirts helped Megan & Robert raise even more funds to help our veterans.
Synergy Print Design loves giving back to the community whenever we can. If you have an upcoming fundraiser event, stop by our shop in Prospect Park and let us help you out. We have a full line of products that everyone loves, and we can help spread the word about your worthwhile cause!
